Disabling download links

Each download link is active for 15 days or 10 downloads, then it automatically expires.

Recipients visiting the download link are notified that the file is no longer available for download if the items has expired.

If you want to disable a download link before it expires, you can do so by visiting the Disable Link page.

The 'Disable' page

Each item you send with Attachmore has its own 'Disable Link' page. To visit this page for your items simply:

  1. Right-click the item in the 'History' tab

  2. From the shortcut menu select 'View Edit/Delete Web Page';

  3. Enter your login and password and click 'Disable Now' button.

From now the file can no longer be downloaded.

Note. You can also disable your download links from your Activity Log (sign in www.attachmore.com, click 'My Account' -> 'Activity Log').

Note. Both expired, manually disabled and active download links are listed in the 'Activity Log'.

Removing items from the history

If you need to delete items from the 'History' tab (not to display items there), do the following. To remove a selected item from the list, just press Delete button on the keyboard. Or: Right-click the item and select ‘Remove’ option from the appeared shortcut menu. In this case the download links will not be disabled.

Note. There is a possibility to purge your history (Tools -> Purge History). You can set a groom date and clear all entries earlier than this number of days. Or you clear all the items, so you will have a fresh history.
