Main program window is called by double-click on the tray icon. There are tree tabs in the main program window: Files to Group', Upload Queue' and 'History' and a number of menu bar links: Preferences, Tools, About, Hide, Help. Read the description of the 'Upload Queue' tab below.

If upload to Attachmore has not been finished, an item is shown at the ‘Upload Queue’ tab. If you are doing a really big file, you can check the percents complete at this tab. Every item listed here will be sent separately and have its own download link.

'Upload Queue' tab

Note. If you want to send a set of items together, use the grouping function.

At the ‘Upload Queue’ tab you can see item names and their upload percents. When the item has been uploaded successfully, it moves to the ‘History’ tab.

The ‘Upload Queue’ tab displays such items:

  • Items which upload to Attachmore server is on the way. Status hint: Processing. You can observe the percents complete of such items in the ‘%’ column. When upload is 100%, an item moves to the ‘History’ tab.
  • Items which upload was temporarily stopped by user. Status hint: Paused. Such items are highlighted by yellow color. You can pause the upload by clicking the ‘Pause all’ button (to pause all listed items) or the ‘Pause’ option in the shortcut menu (for one item).
  • Items which upload has not been started yet. Status hint: Ready for start. If your PC was not connected to Internet while you select items to upload, these items will appear at the ‘Upload Queue’ tab and have status ‘Ready for start’. The uploading will be started after you select the ‘Start’ option from the shortcut menu (for one item), or click the ‘Start all’ button (to send all listed items).

 

Starting uploads

After you select items to upload, they are added to the ‘Upload Queue’ tab. Dispatch starts automatically. Sent percents are shown nearby item names. But sometimes, sending does not start due some reasons, for example, if your PC was not connected to Internet while you select items to upload. Such items have status hint ‘Ready for start’.

To start one item, right-click it and select the ‘Start’ option from the shortcut menu. To start all listed items (including paused if any), click the ‘Start all’ button.

Pausing/Resuming uploads

To pause uploading of one selected item, right-click it and select ‘Pause’ from the shortcut menu. To pause all items, click the ‘Pause all’ buttons at the main program window. The paused items has status hint ‘Paused’ and highlighted by yellow color.

To resume the upload, right-click an item and select ‘Resume’ from the shortcut menu. To start upload of all listed items, click the ‘Start all’ button on the main program window.

Adding new files

There is a possibility to add a new file to upload. Press Ctrl U. Or: Right-click and select the ‘Upload File’ option from the appeared shortcut menu. The standard ‘Open’ dialog will allow you to choose a file on your PC. Click the ‘Open’ button to add this file to the ‘Upload Queue’ tab.

Deleting items

To remove a selected item from the list, just press Delete button on the keyboard. Or: Right-click the item and select ‘Remove from group’ option from the appeared shortcut menu.

Copying download links

To copy a download link, select an item and press Ctrl C. Also, you can copy the download link by right-clicking the item and selecting the ‘Copy Download Link’ option from the appeared shortcut menu.

Opening files and folders

To open/load an item, right-click it and from the appeared menu select ‘Open File’ option.

You can also open the folder where this item is currently located. Right-click the item and select ‘Open Containing Folder’ from the shortcut menu.

Learning items details

You can learn some information about the items in the list. Right-click an item and select ‘Details’ from the shortcut menu. The ‘Task Details’ dialog will be opened. You can see there:

  • File name
  • Folder – Path to the directory where the item is located on your PC.
  • Size – Precise file/folder size in Kilobytes (Kb).
  • Link to download file – if this item has been already sent along, this option will allow you to copy the download link.
  • Link to delete file from server – if this item has been already sent along, this option will allow you to remove the file from server and will not have a possibility to download it any more.
  • Expired - Each download link works for 14 days, then it automatically expires. Recipients visiting the download link are notified that the file is no longer available for download.
  • Created - the date of creation.
  • Last modified

Sorting items

You can sort items by name (click ‘Upload Items’ column heading) or by percent (click ‘%’ column heading). A small arrow appears on the column heading – it indicates the order of sorting – straight or reverse.
